It is that time of the year where we provide you all with an eagerly anticipated operational update across The Tingdene Group.

We received such great feedback from our two updates last year, that we have decided to keep sharing key highlights, achievements, and other important developments from our operations.

It is an opportunity for us to reflect on our collective progress and of course, celebrate successes.

We will be focusing on the following sites:

pyrford marina

Discover the hidden gem of Pyrford Marina, nestled alongside the picturesque River Wey navigation in the heart of Surrey.

Location wise, Pyrford Marina boasts unrivalled convenience. Situated just a stone’s throw away from the M25 and A3, accessing our marina is a breeze. With over 20 miles of navigable waterways, the River Wey navigation sets the stage for endless exploration and adventure.

We continue to develop and enhance the marina experience with recent investment into the on-site facilities including toilet block with underfloor heating and installation of a new tarmac road.

With 219 moorings, this marina has a perfect blend of pontoon moorings or the rustic charm of bankside berths. Our berths cater to a variety of vessels, accommodating narrowboats, widebeams, and dutch barges up to 70 feet. For those seeking a more intimate cruising experience, we have a select few water berths dedicated to smaller inland narrow beam cruisers.

The marina interconnects with the surrounding waterways with many of our longstanding moorers having embarked on a remarkable journey along the River Wey. From Pyrford Marina, you can effortlessly connect and venture along the Thames to access the Kennet and Avon Canal, the Oxford Canal, and the grandeur of the Grand Union Canal. Should you choose to explore downstream, direct access awaits you onto the Basingstoke Canal.

We understand the importance of effective marketing. Our dedicated team at Head Office alongside the team on-site work tirelessly to ensure our marina’s splendour and unique offerings are showcased to a wide audience. Led by our esteemed Marina Manager, Steve Hughes, our passionate professionals, including Marina and Boat Sales Executive - Rachel Tipping, Engineering Operative - Mark Bundrit, Maintenance Expert - Ian Parfit, and Estate Assistant - Neil Johnson, the team are committed to delivering an exceptional experience for all.

Stepping into 2023, Pyrford Marina continues to deliver a strong boat sales performance alongside a popular dry dock with bookings extending well into 2024. This continual demand speaks volumes about the trust our customers place in the engineering and maintenance services we provide.

We hope this has given you some insight on what life is like at Pyrford Marina, a site that has nature and beauty at its heart and one the Tingdene Group can be proud of.

FLAUNDEN PARK

Flaunden Park, a recent acquisition settling into the Tingdene Group portfolio, managed by our very experienced Park Executive, Chris O’Neil.

Situated in close proximity to Flaunden Village, this park encompasses only 40 plots where opportunity is few and far between to become a resident due to its scenic location and proximity to London.

Currently, we have three plots available for purchase which have been made available thanks to our Contractors, Operations and Sales Teams locating areas of the park for refurbishment or newly developed infill plots. Two of these plots have already been developed into welcoming showhomes.

Flaunden Park is nestled amidst picturesque countryside with a conveniently located bus stop allowing for easy accessibility. A nearby village of Bovingdon, just a short 5-minute drive away, offers a wide array of amenities to cater to our resident’s needs.

Our team has been hard at work to showcase the park’s potential to future residents and we are pleased to announce one of our showhomes, featuring a Manor Arlingworth, has secured a holding deposit. The second showhome has only recently been sited and will be launched to the market shortly further adding to our exciting offerings. The third plot remains available for development and presents a new opportunity for our team to showcase their skills.

Our Wellingborough Sales and Marketing teams, alongside local estate agents, are actively engaged in bringing these properties to the market. Their commitment and passion, work towards delivering a seamless experience throughout the customer journey.

FENLAND VILLAGE

Situated in close proximity to the vibrant town of Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, Fenland Village enjoys easy access to a wide range of amenities. From essential services such as doctor’s offices and convenient shopping options to fuel stations and entertainment venues, everything you need is just a stone’s throw away.

Wisbech ensures that residents of Fenland Village enjoy the best of both worlds: the serenity of a quiet, close-knit community with the convenience of a bustling town.

Fenland Village is home to 74 residences with no vacant plots for development. The park has fully developed and operational status.

LODDON COURT

Located in the Berkshire countryside, just 5 miles away from the busy town of Reading and only 1 mile from the village of Spencer’s Wood, Loddon Court has the advantage of local amenities including local shops, petrol station with a small supermarket, pub, doctors, chemists and a bakery all within easy walking distance.

With Junction 11 of the M4 Motorway only 2 miles away, this means that you will have superb access to London and the west country while also mentioning that Heathrow Airport is only 35 minutes away and Reading train station an easy 7 miles from the Park.

Loddon Court is managed by our Park Executive, Martin Cook, with additional support from Chris O’Neil. This park is a well-established park with a combination of both new and mature homes.

The last few months, Loddon court has been busy with activity with 7 sets of new residents moving in. We have the lovely Hayden Classic showhome under offer, leaving only 2 plots available.

A successful year so far!

THE ORCHARDS

The Orchards is a mature residential park in a woodland setting located in the countryside of South Buckinghamshire, just 3 miles away from the busy town of Slough and only 1 mile from the village of Langley. The Orchards is supported with local amenities close by with an array of shops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants as well as doctors and chemists. Local attractions such as Windsor castle and Iver Golf club are all close by.

The location of the park provides commuting ease with junction 5 of the M4 Motorway only 2 miles away, giving superb access to London and the west country and Junction 1 of the M40 is only 5 minutes away giving easy access to Birmingham and the northern motorway network.

Heathrow Airport is only a 15-minute drive away along the M4, and Langley train station is on the newly developed Elizabeth line giving superb access into London and is only a 10-minute walk away from the Park.

With a minimum age of 45, the rail link makes this a very desirable location for access into London for those residents who are still working. The Park boasts a green “quiet“ area with a lake that can be used for fishing exclusively by residents.

There is a very active and supportive residents’ association present on the park, who organise several social events throughout the year.

The Park is managed by our Park Executive, Martin Cook, with additional support from Chris O’Neil.

The Orchards is a well-established and fully developed park with a mix of 213 modern and mature homes. Currently 2 of those plots are scheduled for re-development in the near future.

WHITEHILL PARK

Whitehill Park is located near to the village of Whitehill in the East Hampshire countryside, just 2 miles away from the centre of the military garrison town of Bordon with the bigger towns of Alton and Guilford and Petersfield, all about 30 mins away. All the usual amenities can be found in Bordon and the nearest rail services are in the nearby village of Liphook, 5 miles from the Park.

The Park is in a rural setting, surrounded by woodland with an abundance of wildlife including Deer, Kingfishers and even Adders.

The Park is well established and fully developed with 63 mainly mature homes making this park ideal for those seeking a quiet life in the countryside. Currently, 2 of the 63 plots are undergoing re-development with new homes due to be sited in the near future.

The Tingdene Group has recently invested in a new Park office improving the visual appearance to the entrance of the Park.

Although relatively small, there is a strong sense of community on the Park with a very active and fully subscribed residents’ association.

The residents have organised various clubs promoting different hobbies and interests, including a “breakfast club” on Saturday mornings, which for some reason appears to be the most well attended!

The Park is managed by our Park Executive, Martin Cook, with additional support from Chris O’Neil.
