Dear Tingdene Group team members,
As we end the first Quarter for 2024, we wanted to thank you again for your ongoing dedication and hard work.
At the 2023 Christmas Party and in our recently released ‘Positive Business Report 2023’ we spoke about the challenges, opportunity and excitement that this year would bring, and it hasn’t disappointed so far. We wish to advise of some positive and progressive changes that will impact all team members across Tingdene Group, applicable from 1 April.
Salary Increases
We are pleased to announce that each team member of the Tingdene Group will receive an increase in their basic salary of 3%. Those team members on National Living Wage will receive an increase in line with Government legislation.
To confirm the changes to your salary, you will shortly be issued with a contract addendum which must be signed. These will be uploaded to your SAGE portal for signature. If you have any problems accessing this, please contact your line manager in the first instance.
Changes to National Insurance
Combined with the above changes to salaries, team members may also see a further reduction in their National insurance contributions, as this drops from 10% to 8% for primary class 1 contributors, in line with government legislative changes. Please click the link below for further information.

Enhanced Maternity, Paternity and Shared Parental Leave policies
Due to recent legislative changes, we have made some changes to our parental leave policies, as well as introducing a new enhanced package for all types of parental leave. As a business we continue to adapt and recognise the needs of our team across the UK. These changes ensure we maintain our proactiveness to enhance our business offering and understanding of the everchanging workplace environment.
To summarise the enhanced policies, we will be offering (subject to eligibility):
Enhanced Maternity:
100% salary for the first 8 weeks of leave
50% salary for weeks 9-24 of leave
Remainder at Statutory Maternity Pay rate
Enhanced Paternity:
100% salary for full 2 weeks leave
