For over two decades, the Gold Anchor Scheme has stood as a beacon of quality within the marina industry, providing a measure of excellence for marinas and their facilities. As we mark approximately 25 years since its inception, we reflect on the significance of this esteemed accreditation and its impact on our marinas.

Established to recognise and reward marinas for their commitment to excellence, the Gold Anchor Scheme has become synonymous with quality, reliability, and exceptional service. Under this scheme, marinas undergo rigorous assessments based on a range of criteria, including facilities, customer service, environmental practices, and overall management.

We are proud to announce that two of our marinas, Racecourse Marina and Thames & Kennet Marina, have been awarded 5 Gold Anchors, a testament to our teams and their unwavering dedication to providing high quality experiences for our berth holders, guests and customers. This achievement also reflects the ongoing financial investment we make to positively change and enhance our offering year on year.

Furthermore, Brundall Bay Marina, Upton Marina, and Stourport Marina have each earned an impressive 4 Gold Anchors, solidifying our reputation for excellence across our marina portfolio. While we continuously strive for improvement, these accolades reaffirm our position as leaders in the industry and serve as testament to our ongoing commitment to quality and service.

As we celebrate this milestone and the history of the Gold Anchor Scheme, we would like to also celebrate our dedicated colleagues, whose tireless efforts have played an integral role in shaping, strengthening and raising the standards of our marinas across the UK
