Dear Tingdene Group team members,

At the 2024 End of Year Party we showcased examples of positive impacts across all our business units with a sneak peak of what is to come in 2025, including Tingdene Group’s core values. Our core values are what set us apart, bind us together and help drive our standards. As a third generation family business, we know people are at the heart of everything we do. We consistently undertake role evaluation processes, salary and benefits benchmarking to ensure we are adapting and modernising our business to suit our people and our teams.

We thank you for being part of our journey and we want to take this opportunity to communicate and congratulate our people changes across Tingdene Group, applicable from 1 April.


Salary Increases

We would like to announce that each Tingdene Group team member will receive an increase in their basic salary of 2%. Those team members on National Living Wage (NLW) will receive an increase in line with Government legislation.

Please note if you are subject to a NLW increase, you will not receive the 2% in addition to the NLW increase.

To confirm the changes to your salary, you will shortly be issued with a contract addendum which must be signed. These will be uploaded to your SAGE portal for signature, you will be notified via email once the document is available. If you have any problems accessing this, please contact your line manager in the first instance.


Changes to National Insurance

Whilst not impacting employees, the Labour Government have introduced an increase to employer National Insurance Contributions (NIC). From April 2025, employers will be subject to the following key changes:

  • The threshold for employers to pay NIC on employee earnings will drop from £9,100 to £5,000.

  • The employer NIC will increase from 13.8% to 15%.

This new and substantial cost to the business cannot be underestimated and it is important we share this information with you.
