At Tingdene Group, we believe that our team members are one of our greatest assets. To foster a supportive and engaging workplace for all, we recently conducted an employee engagement survey. The survey aimed to understand your experiences, gather your feedback, and identify areas where we as company can improve. We are pleased to share the findings with you.
The survey saw an impressive participation rate with 114 responses spread across our business units:
Tingdene Parks: 32 Responses
Tingdene Holiday Parks: 60 Responses
Tingdene Marinas & Boat Sales: 24 Responses
Overall, the results show that Tingdene Group has a highly engaged workforce, with a significant number of employees expressing satisfaction and pride in their roles:
81% of colleagues agree that they are proud to work for the Tingdene Group.
65% of respondents see themselves working at Tingdene Group in 3 years’ time.
73% agree that Tingdene Group cares about their wellbeing.
And lastly, our Employee Net Promoter Score, which is a way of measuring how likely employees are to recommend an organisation as a good place to work, was rated “Good” which indicates a strong level of employee satisfaction and willingness to recommend our company as a great place to work!
We were delighted to hear the many ways in which our colleagues feel supported and valued. Here are some of the positive comments we received:

“Good levels of training provided. The Health and Safety side of the business is well looked after, meaning you feel safe in the workplace.”

Such feedback underscores our commitment to creating a positive and supportive work environment. It’s encouraging to see that our efforts in areas like employee care, continuous improvement, and safety are being recognised and appreciated.
There were also some areas where we need to focus our efforts. Here are some of the areas where colleagues have suggested improvements:
“More regular check ins on Staff's Mental Health & Wellbeing”
“Keep us informed of developments/changes/improvements to the park”
“Facilitate more team events/socials, give more feedback (positive or constructive)”
“Allow employees to purchase extra days annual leave”
