There is a certain buzz in the air, and we are not just talking about the start of a new season!

Both Waveney River Centre and Sacketts Grove have recently unlocked the ability for further park transformations, and we wanted to pull back the curtain on what’s been happening behind the scenes.

Waveney River Centre

Firstly, a trip down memory lane. Waveney River Centre was an acquisition we proudly made back in October 2021. It has been two years since that significant moment, and while we remain focused on existing sales activity and marina growth, we have crystallised planning permission for future development opportunity.

Waveney River Centre, based in Suffolk, now has the ability to add 8 new lodges seamlessly next to our existing ones within the southwestern part of the site, replace old camping spots with 14 fresh chalets in the central area of the park, and unveiling 15 more touring spots in the northern area of the site.

We have also introduced an open space in the centre, which will no doubt enhance the ambiance for all our visitors.

Considering its location in the heart of the Broads National Park, combined with its marina, holiday homes and leisure facilities, Waveney’s future potential and journey is one to keep an eye on.

Sacketts Grove

Let’s swing over to Sacketts Grove, a residential park set within a tranquil private woodland and a stone’s throw away from the vibrant coastal resort of Clacton-on-Sea. The plot where the old swimming pool once stood now has the ability to welcome 8 new homes, complementing the existing community of 96 residential park homes.

It is not just an addition; it’s rejuvenating a cherished space.

Both parks are evolving, and our thanks goes to our planning teams, sales teams, operations team and third party contacts who have made and will make the next stage journey possible for these two parks.

We will be sure to update and keep our teams in the loop as these opportunities come to fruition in the future.
